Report on the World's Urban Renewable Energy Policies Released
A draft report on urban (local governments') renewable energy policies worldwide, "Global Status Report on Local Renewable Energy Policies", was jointly released on June 12, 2009, by the Renewable Energy Policy Network for the 21st Century (REN21), Local Governments for Sustainability (ICLEI), and the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (ISEP).

Ren21 released the most recent report on renewable energy, the "Renewables Global Status Report 2009", on May 13, 2009, while ISEP released the Japanese translated "Renewables Global Status Report 2007" at the same time.
